The Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce- Employment Accessibility committee is proud to announce the Work Opportuning Resource Kiosk, or W.O.R.K. Station, an electronic “Help Wanted” job board, is now available at the Pope County Resource Center at 1 Roof. The kiosk is a sixty-five inch interactive screen that displays the Chamber Jobfinder website and connects the user to job resources, including Arkansas Joblink, Resume Writing, Rehabilitation Services, Veteran Employment Services, Training Programs, GED, and English as a second language. Information on the kiosk can be displayed in English, Spanish, French, German, Lao, and Myanmar (Burmese).

The W.O.R.K. Station was funded by a grant that was awarded to the Chamber by the Society for Human Resource Management, or SHRM Foundation. Russellville was selected as one of five pilot communities in Arkansas for a SHRM research project on employment accessibility. The W.O.R.K. Station was developed by the Chamber’s Employment Accessibility committee as a way to connect jobseekers to job postings and resources.

The Pope County Resource Center at 1 Roof, is located at 3001 East H Street, in Russellville. Hours are 9 to 4 on Monday through Thursday. The Chamber Jobfinder website can be found at http://jobfinder.russellvillechamber.com
